Add Copy To Move To, To The Right-Click Menu Windows 7
This function is to enable the operation as convinient as possible. What you need to do is just download and install a registry script for Windows that will let you add a Copy To Folder or Move To Folder to the right-click menu, which can be very useful when you want to move a file but don’t have the other folder open already.
Option 1 Registry Script Easy way
Download the Registry Script here, unzip, and double-click on the registry files, when a dialog box appears, click Continue and then it can be used in your Right-Click menu.
Right-click on a file,And up pops a nice dialog that you can use to easily drop a file into the right directory.
Tips: It can also be used in Windows XP and Vista.
Option 2 Manually Hard way
- Type “regedit” in Start Menu search box to open the Registry Editor.
- Locate HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > AllFileSystemObjects > shellex > ContextMenuHandlers.
- Right-click “ContextMenuHadlers” and select “New > Key”.
- Rename the key to “Copy To”.
- Modify the default value of newly created key “Copy To”. Right-click “Default” in the right pane, select “Modify” and paste the following value in the “Value Data” field:{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
- .Follow the same procedure for creating a new key named “Move To” and paste the following value in the “Value Data” field:{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
- .Close the Registry editor and right-click any icon to observe the newly added options in the context-menu.
