TakeOwnershipEx is anĀ application to quickly take ownership of Windows files and folders (including Windows 8). This application eliminates the need of requiring knowledge of any complex procedure. Once launched, click Take Ownership and select a file or folder to take ownership for.

If they become corrupt or are altered. To avoid damage to sensitive file, simply restore the default file rights, launch TakeOwnershipEx again and select Restore Ownership.

By selecting the files and folders for which you want to restore to the default rights and click Restore Rights.

TakeOwnershipEx works on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (I tested successfully). The Operating System in the video is windows 8
