Disable Websites Asking for Your Location Windows 10

Every time you open a website it asks for your location, if you are really getting confused about this requests, then I believe that you need to read this guide as I am going to explain step by step how you can disable websites from asking for your location in windows 10 for the three different browsers “Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer”, follow the below steps to guarantee a successful result.

Disable location tracking in Google Chrome:

1. From the top right corner of your Chrome browser, click on the three-dot menu, and then click “Settings”.

2. Scroll down till you reach the end then click on “Advanced”.

3. Under “Privacy & Security” click on “Content Settings”.

4. Click on “Location”.

5. Turn off “Ask before accessing (recommended)”, just like the below screenshot.

Turn off “Location Tracking” on Microsoft Edge

1. From the start menu, click on the settings icon.

2. From Windows settings, click on “Privacy”.

3. From the left side, click on “Locations”.

4. Under “Choose apps that can use your precise location”, turn off location for Microsoft Edge, just like the below screenshot.

Turn off Location tracking In Internet Explorer

1. Open “Internet Explorer” by searching for it on your start menu.

2. Click on the settings icon which looks like the gear shaped, or press Alt + X.

3. From the drop-down menu, click on “Internet Options”.

4. From “Internet Options”, click on “Privacy” tab.

5. Make sure to check the box “Never allow websites to request your physical location”, just like the below screenshot.

6. Click “Ok” after you are done.
